STUDENT PROGRAM
The purpose of this program is to encourage the active participation of PhD students in ICAPP 2019 and promote the interaction of students with experienced nuclear professionals to help them establish mentoring and networking links in their area of interest.
Students participating in this program will be expected to submit an abstract to make an oral presentation during a technical session as well as to candidate for the student pitch session (the number of places is limited. Only ten students can be selected for this session). This session offers a unique opportunity for PhD students to perfect their communication skills by presenting their research in simple terms to the entire audience in a clear, concise and compelling way with the support of a single slide! A jury prize and a public prize will be awarded on Tuesday evening.
Students should submit a one-page 500 word abstract in English. Oral presentations will be made in English. About 20 minutes will be allotted for oral presentations in technical sessions (15’ for presentation + 5’ for Q&A) and 3 minutes for pitches.
Students participating in this program are required to register for the Congress and will benefit from a preferential rate.
